Flagworld Proudly Supports AFL Indigenous Round Lunch Hosted by Commonwealth Bank
Flagworld recently had the privilege of attending the AFL Indigenous Round Lunch hosted by Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). CBA organized this event to celebrate and demonstrate their support for the Indigenous Round in the AFL. Flagworld was honoured to be part of this meaningful occasion by providing unique and eye-catching banners and flags that added vibrancy and cultural significance to the event.
Among the distinguished attendees were several key business bankers from CBA, including Steve Guscic, General Manager, Business Banking Victoria. Their presence demonstrated the bank's commitment to fostering strong relationships and showcasing support for the Indigenous community.
Inspiring Guest Speakers
The Indigenous Round Lunch was enriched by the presence of guest speakers who shared their inspiring stories and perspectives. Aunty Joy, an Aboriginal elder, brought her wisdom and insights, reminding everyone of the significance of the Indigenous Round and the importance of reconciliation. Darryl White and Michael O'Loughlin, former AFL players, discussed their active roles in the indigenous community and highlighted the positive impact of the AFL.
Supporting the Aboriginal Community
At Flagworld, we believe in the importance of giving back to the communities we serve. We are proud that 10% of every Aboriginal flag sold by our company is passed on to the National Indigenous Australia Agency (NIAA), which directly benefits the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Island community through programs and services that address their unique needs. This maintains our ongoing commitment to supporting the Indigenous community and preserving their rich cultural heritage. We would like to express our gratitude to all our customers who have contributed to this cause through their purchases.
The Flagworld team were delighted to capture the spirit of the event through our vibrant banners and flags. We worked closely with Nicole, our contact at CBA, to ensure that our designs embodied the cultural significance of the occasion. The colourful displays provided a visually captivating backdrop that added a touch of pride and celebration to the event. We extend our thanks to Nicole for her efforts in showcasing the spirit of the AFL Indigenous Round.
Flagworld is immensely proud to have been part of the AFL Indigenous Round Lunch hosted by Commonwealth Bank.
